The much publicised Extra-Ordinary Congress of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, which was earlier scheduled to hold at Chidal Hotel in Abuja, was eventually held Monday evening on a street in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

P.M.NEWS Sports can report that at least 35 of the 44 stakeholders of the Congress, which comprise states’ football associations and other affiliated bodies, sat on Shehu Shagari Way, within Maitama District, Abuja for the Congress when it became clear that the Chidal Hotel venue won’t be convenient as security operatives took over the place.

It was gathered that no management staff of the NFF was present at the ‘street congress’ at the end of which a Communiqué was released.
