There was tension Tuesday morning at the Surulere Local Government Area as police and youths from the area stormed the council as a result of the alleged suspension of the council chairman, Tajudeen Ajide, by the councillors.

The crises between the councillors and the chairman also caused serious confusion paralysing activities at the council as workers were seen scattered everywhere around the council.

At the time of filing this report, many of the workers had carried their paraphernalia in readiness for any possible clash following the tension in the council.
