“The generality of OAU students still remain non-partisan, we are a neutral body that will always support the right candidate,” he said.

PM NEWS gathered that a particular news has been trending amidst Great Ife students that Aregbesola might not attend any issues concerning them, as they collected a bus gift from Senator Iyiola Omisore who was the PDP candidate.

Responding to this news was Amubiaya Charles, a 300 level student of International Relations, who told PM NEWS that Aregbesola would not turn a deaf hear on issues concerning OAU students because of the bus gift. This is because Aregbesola said at his campaigns that we can collect their gifts but vote the right candidate.

“I’m glad that Ogbeni emerged the winner, he is worthy to be the governor of Osun and that’s why the people gave him their votes.

“The issue concerning the bus gift has gone viral among OAU students but I do not think it will affect us because he won on OAU campus, and he even gave voters the nod to receive gifts bestow on them but to vote the right candidate. We should also not be oblivious of the fact that OAU students are non-partisan to any political party,” he argued.
