Peacock Travels and Tours, a subsidiary of Peacock Group of Companies, has won another award, the company said in a statement at the weekend.
This time, Peacock won the London-based Acquisition Magazine’s ‘Sustained Excellence in Corporate Travel 2014’ award.
The award presentation was done by the Mayor of London Borough of Richmond, Cllr. Jane Boulton, during the opening of Peacock new office complex in King Street, Twickenham in London.
Boulton was quoted as saying, “This award is a result of the hard work of Peacock Travel staff”.
She expressed happiness for having a forward-looking establishment like Peacock in her Borough and pledged her support at all times.
The Travel Manager, Peacock, Mr. Keith Lloyd, was quoted as assuring that the travel firm would continue to maintain the high level of service the company had been known for.
“We want to be a travel agency that is unique and that has utmost concern its client, unlike online bookers,” he added.
Keith noted that the award was based strictly on review and votes by industry practitioners in the UK as well as the evaluative research always carried out by the awarding magazine.
The statement quoted the Executive Chairman, Peacock Group, Mr. Segun Phillips, as saying that the award was dedicated to the glory of God and the entire customers of the company worldwide.
