The funeral rites for the late human rights lawyer, Bamidele Aturu, who died last week, will begin Tuesday with a day of tributes at the Abibat Mogaji Millennium Secondary School Playground, Agege, Lagos, at 1p.m.

On Wednesday, there will be service of songs by the Redeemed Christian Church of God at the Abibat Mogaji Millennium Secondary School Playground, Agege at 5pm. It will be followed by candle light procession/solidarity night at the same venue from 8pm.

The Nigeria Bar Association Ikeja Branch will hold a valedictory session for him on Thursday at the NBA Secretariat, Lagos High Court premises from 9am on Thursday. One the same day, there will be a commendation service by the Redeemed Christian Church of God at 5, Abebi Close, off Olatunji Street, off Ogudu Road, Ojota, Lagos at 11am.

On Friday, there will be a funeral service by the Redeemed Christian Church of God at 10am and interment at Ogbagi, Akoko, Ondo State.

Aturu is survived by wife, Adebimpe, children, aged parents, siblings and seven other relations.
