Subscribers to the services of leading pay-TV provider, MultiChoice, have been assured of continuous access to premium content. In addition, subscribers will also benefit from the advances in broadcast technology that MultiChoice is always striving to adopt to boost its services.

These assurances were made at the Ibadan leg of MultiChoice Customer fora, which was held at the SDM House, Secretariat area of the city. Caroline Oghuma, Public Relations Manager, DStv, while welcoming customers to the forum, stated that the objective of the forum is to thank subscribers for their loyalty and listen to their suggestions, advice and complaints, which provide constructive feedback necessary for the company’s effective operation. She added that MultiChoice is an innovation-driven organisation that continues to add value to its subscribers.

“This forum is equally designed to bring customers closer to the DStv brand in order for our esteemed subscribers to know and meet some of the people behind their pay-TV of choice,” she said, adding that DStv will not relent in its focus on offering premium content and service.

Mrs. Pauline Ehusani, Chief Monitoring Officer, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), lauded MultiChoice for the customer forum initiative. She advised that the engagement be sustained because it is an important mechanism in customer relations. “NBC is established for Nigerians, to ensure that broadcasters meet the need of TV viewers at all times.

“Even with the choices available, people still need to state if what they are served is what they want. That is why a forum like this is much appreciated,” she added.

She urged subscribers to always engage their service provider, as it is their right to complain but also enjoined them to give credit where it is due. Subscribers’ feedback, stated Mrs. Ehusani, helps the regulator to effectively monitor the industry as well as enforce regulations.
