The seven-man panel investigating the Adamawa House of Assembly allegations of gross misconduct against Gov. Murtala Nyako and his Deputy, Mr Bala Ngilari, commenced sitting in Yola on Friday.

NAN reports that the panel, constituted on 4 July by the Chief Judge, Justice Ambrose Mammdi, is sitting at the Federal Secretariat conference room.

The Chairman of the panel, Malam Buba Kaigama, who spoke at the venue, apologised for the one week delay in the commencement of sitting.

Kaigama, who attribute the delay to the problem of locating a venue, assured that the panel would be fair and just to all parties involved.
