Members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP have been told to work in peace and unity to enable the party to win elections in 2015.

The National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, made the call in Abuja on Wednesday when the committee members came to congratulate him on his 59th birthday.

Mu’azu said peace and unity among the NWC members was necessary in ensuring free, fair and credible conduct of primaries ahead of 2015 general elections.

“We should be united to conduct free, fair and credible primaries as that would enable the party win elections in 2015,” Mu`azu said‎.

Mu`azu, who emerged as the national chairman in January, called on Nigerians to continue to “support PDP as the only true democratic party in the country.’’

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the NWC members took turns to pay glowing tributes to the party`s national chairman.
