Despite not enjoying enough playing time for Liverpool FC of England, Victor Moses is still upbeat of being on the flight to the World Cup holding in Brazil later this year.

Moses is on loan from Chelsea to Liverpool but since his arrival he has not been given enough playing time but he has expressed optimism in making the final cut when Coach Stephen Keshi releases his final 23-man list.

Speaking from his base, the former Crystal Palace of England player said he is still in top form despite his being benched in Liverpool.

According to him: ‘‘I’m not match rusty as people may want to believe; I can assure that if I finally make the World Cup team I’ll prove my critics wrong.’’

He further disclosed that he would be delighted if Liverpool eventually wins the 2013/14 English Premier League season and he would do all within his means to ensure that Nigeria clinches the World Cup as well.

In his words, ‘‘I really feel we are doing well at the moment because we are the League leaders, it will be a thing of joy for me if we can win the title because it will be a morale booster for me going to the World Cup.’’
