NEMA names 136 injured bomb blast victims

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Thursday in Abuja, released the names of 136 casualties of Monday’s bomb blast in Nyanya, Abuja, who were receiving treatment in various hospitals.

Although the agency said a comprehensive list of the victims and their contact addresses could be accessed on its Website: www.nema.gov.ng., P.M.NEWS check revealed that the agency has not posted the names on the site.

However, the list published by Mr Sani Datti, NEMA’s Senior Public Relations Officer, showed that 11 of the casualties were receiving treatment in Nyanya; 26 in Asokoro General Hospital.

The list shows that a 10-month-old baby was among the casualties receiving treatment in Asokoro General Hospital.

“Eight of the casualties are in Mararaba General Hospital while 14 are in Custom Hospital Karu, including a physically challenged male.

“Four casualties are receiving treatment in Abuja Clinic, Karu, while one is receiving treatment in Garki Hospital,’’ the statement read.
