Gombe United Football Club of Gombe and Super Eagles third choice goalkeeper, Chigozie Agbim has said that the Eagles will not be pushovers at the World Cup billed for Brazil in June.
Agbim who is the captain of home- based Eagles stated in an interview that he is optimistic that the Eagles will be a force to reckon with at the World Cup.
The former Rangers of Enugu safe hands hinged his optimism on the unity of the team and the zeal to rewrite history by going past the second round stage.
According to him, ‘‘For those thinking that teams in our group will whitewash us, they should have a rethink because we have what it takes to defeat any team that comes our way in Brazil.’’
He added that he would leave nothing to chance to ensure thaqt he makes the trip to Brazil.
