The much-awaited Winners Golden Bet Lagos State Challenge Cup will kick off tomorrow at Agege Stadium.

Seven matches are scheduled to hold tomorrow at Agege Stadium with Kush FC facing Samvic FC, Ambek FC battle Future Stars FC, while Team 360 FC clash with Al-Amin FC.

Sam Jasen FC will take on De Real Victorious, Super Gold FC will confront Infinity FC, Maryland United FC take on Magate FC, Christ Ambassadors FC tackle Glory FC in the last match of the day.

P.M.NEWS Sports gathered that no fewer than 39 clubs registered for this year’s edition. 14 clubs will play in the first round though only seven will join 25 clubs already seeded in the round of 32.

He said this year’s edition would be different as the body just secured a sponsorship deal with Winners Golden Bet. He warned that any team and player that causes trouble will be sanctioned accordingly.

“My advice for all the participating teams is to exhibit the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the tournament because we want the best two teams to be in the final and represent the state at the National Challenge Cup known today as the Federation Cup,” he said.

Executive Director of Winners Golden Bet, Sulaiman Olabanji said they are pleased to partner with Lagos FA. He promised that this year’s edition will be better organised.

Meanwhile four teams have registered for the Female Lagos State Challenge Cup. In the pairings released yesterday, Yaba Queens will battle FR Robo Queens, while Police Machine will face COD Ladies in the second match. W inners in each match will through to final and represent Lagos at the national Level.
