Tehila Crew has promised visitors more happiness as its Alabanza concert, the annual gospel music praise concert billed to hold at the indoor sports hall of the National Stadium in Lagos today, 14 February, enters its second season.
The all-night concert will be providing and giving an opportunity for artistes to interact with one another and also help to raise funds for motherless babies homes.
Speaking on tonight’s concert, Tim, a lead partner of Tehila Crew, stated that no fewer than 20 gospel artistes within and outside the country have been slated to minister at the event. They include Nigerian gospel musician, Sammie Okposo, Righteous man, Pat-Uwaje-king, Nikki Laoye, Charles Okafor, Henrisoul and Cwesi Oteng.
He noted that Alabanza, a Hebrew word for praise was conceptualized by Tehila Crew two years ago, adding that the vision of the concert came while ministering in Scotland with the crew; and immediately they returned to the country, they delved into it.
Tim noted further that Tehila Crew will be using the occasion to formally present their single which focuses on praising God in all languages.
Tehila Crew started as a gospel music group in the year 2010. This is a blend of talented and spirit-filled worshippers (Enkay, Tim & Seth) poised to bring down God’s glory each time there is an opportunity to worship, reaching out to souls, mending broken hearts and reconciling men with God.
“The ability to adapt to various tongues is awesome, praising God in different languages, some Nigerian dialects, English and French thereby extending listenership and followership to both the Anglophone and Francophone territories have been an advantage for us,” Tim said.
Their debut album, Jehovah is a compilation of nine inspirational tracks. Each track promises a rewarding experience and an opportunity to look to the Almighty God as He will always inhabit the praise of his children.
In July 2013, Tehila Crew dropped a single titled Papa Eeeeh that has enjoyed massive downloads in the cyberspace. Currently, videos for some of their songs are in the works and will be dropping soon.
Tehila Crew has also organized series of concerts to uplift people’s hearts and draw men closer to God. It’s latest being the Alabanza praise which is the first of a series of concerts slated to hold quarterly.
