Following the success of sampling King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall’s song in a track titled Anifowoshe off his BGEL album, fast rising rapper, Olamide has been invited for a collaboration by the Fuji music czar.
The news filtered out early this week when pictures of the Fuji music act and the young rapper busy in the studio surfaced online.
“Studio with da King of fuji… K1 ft Baddo,” Olamide wrote on his Instagram page with pictures of the recording session and striking his famous ‘Gunman pose‘ with the Fuji lord.
P.M.NEWS Entertainment Cafe learnt that the new song meant for K1’s upcoming album was arrived at after K1 got the news about the rave reviews and constant rotations the song Anifowoshe received. Olamide in the song has referred to himself K1’s son and paid homage to him as a huge inspiration in his career.
The album, according to insiders, will be vintage K1 and it will drop soon.
