Speaker’s Cup: Kuforiji, Enitan To Grace Final Ceremony  print

Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly,  Adeyemi Ikuforiji and Lagos State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Enitan Oshodi will be among the dignitaries that will grace the final of this year’s Lagos Speaker’s Cup, which holds today at the Agege Stadium.

The final will be played between  Ojodu Local Council Development Area, LCDA and Mushin Local Government. To reach the final stage, Ojodu defeated Coker Aguda LCDA, while Mushin defeated Ifako –Ijaiye LCDA  3-1 to book their place in the final.

The Chairman, Organising Committee, Deji  Aladegbemi disclosed that arrangements have been put in place to organise a hitch free closing ceremony, and warned the players and fans to shun violence during the match.

“We want this year’s Speaker’s Cup to be different from the previous editions. We’ll beef up security around the stadium and I want to use this medium to advise fans to shun violence throughout the closing ceremony,” he said.
