Former Arsenal skipper, Thierry Henry could make a sensational return to the Emirates, for a loan spell when the Major League Soccer, MLS goes on break for their off-season.

Henry who enjoyed a memorable loan spell, on his second return to the club in January, will team up with Arsenal next month, to train and keep fit with an eye to joining with the Gunners for another loan deal.

It is understood that Arsenal wants to bolster their strike-force in January, as there is an air of uncertainty in the club over the future of Theo Walcott, and also Gervinho who will be in South Africa with Ivory Coast for the 2013 Nations Cup.

According to Goal.com if Arsenal fails to clinch a deal for target Adrian Lopez from Atletico Madrid, they could turn to their former talismanic striker for a bailout.

Speaking at the summer, Henry did not rule out a possible return to Arsenal, which will make it his third at the club.

“I would like to go back to England with Arsenal for sure. I wasn’t planning to go back to play last season. It was only because Gervinho and Marouane Chamakh went to the African Nations Cup.

“I was there to train and they asked me if I wanted to play. Who knows what might happen in the future? I’ve not yet spoken to Arsene about it so I don’t know what capacity I could go back in.”
