weeks now, died today in a United Kingdom hospital.

It was also gathered that she discovered the ailment late, and was moved to London for medical attention just two weeks ago.

Her death was confirmed by her friend and favoutite TV presenter, Funmi Iyanda who tweeted thus: “My dearest friend Ms Remi Osholake (Remi Lagos) passd on this morning. She had cancer. She was a remarkable, creative force to the end. Life is.

“My soul is weeping blood. Remi won’t want that but I hurt, I hurt.. She was so brilliant, so full of life, so friggn funny. Life is..” she tweets.

The late fashion guru who always dressed in black, has her brand Remi Lagos – headquartered in Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria

Osholake, who turned 50 this year, was in the forefront of the post-90s fashion revolution in Nigeria.

    RIP, your works will continue to live on. I’m sure many of the politicians will not be remembered in a good way like this, cos of the evil they have done to this country.

    It is sad,I is better for our women to do yearly examination of ovarian & breast cancer.No one can tell & no one pray for it,but the earlier they discover it the better they manage it.

    May her gentle soul rest in peace. Our Nigerian women need to get more health aware and go for regular checkups especially re Mammogram, annual pap smears, glocose and cholesterol checkup.
