In appreciation of Babatunde Raji Fashola’s administration in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, an event management outfit, Reel Production is set to hold Face of Lagos Beauty Pageant in December.
According to the CEO of the outfit, Charles Danson, the pageant is part of his outfit’s contributions to Fashola’s zest for good governance.
“The status of Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria, and the undisputed centre of excellence has been on the rise in the past few years and has been among the best since Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola assumed office. Eko as the state is fondly called has been wearing a new look as a model mega city,” Danson said.
“It is, however, against the background of this zest that has enveloped Lagos, that we intend to introduce an innovative beauty pageant titled: Face of Lagos, to keep the vision of the mega city alive.
Face of Lagos beauty pageant is designed to assist the government by choosing a worthy female ambassador that is young, beautiful, vibrant and brilliant within the age of 18 – 30years to project the vision and mission of the government.
It is also expected to act as a bridge between the government and its teeming young female population.
Face of Lagos will be a competition among the LGs and LCDAs in Lagos State.
