Popular Nollywood actresses, Chika Ike and Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, have been named among other outstanding Nigerians that will be honoured during the Global News Awards for Excellence scheduled to hold on Sunday, 22 July, 2012 at Time Square Events Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.
According to Mr. Segun Ogunbunmi, the Publisher of Global News magazine and organiser of the event, the awards is designed to celebrate those who have been inspiring and outstanding in their endeavours in the last one year.
Other entertainers expected to be honoured include Stella Damasus, Flip Tyce, May D, AK Media Concepts and gospel music duchess, Esther Igbekele.
