Deputy Minority leader, Federal House of Representatives and ANPP member, Suleiman Kawu Sumaila said some members of the house have lost confidence in President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

Speaking to P.M.NEWS shortly after an emergency meeting with staff of New Nigeria Newspapers at Kaduna, the House of Representatives member noted that the president does not keep to his words .

“We in the House of Reps are really worried that it is almost a year after he was sworn in as president and President Jonathan is yet to put smile on the faces of Nigerians,” Kawu stated.

According to him, almost all promises made to ensure adequate power generation and supply, transform the railway sector as an alternative and palliative transport measure, create employment, construct roads and many other promises during his campaign and early this year when organised labour embarked on fuel subsidy protest have not been kept.

Fielding questions on his position about the resolve by northern governors to support a northern candidate against any southern candidate in 201d, the member representing Sumaila/Takai Federal constituency, Kano State, noted that “zoning is a PDP affair and in my capacity an opposition, my concern is about progress of the country at large and not a region or a section.”

He warned against overheating the polity over who becomes president come 2015.
