NOC Honours Okoya-Thomas, Galadima  print

As the days draw closer to its Annual General Meeting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC, has appointed four prominent Nigerians as Patrons of the body.

The four heavyweights are foremost philanthropist Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas, Industrialist Chief Sunny Iwedike Odogwu, foremost Sports Administrator and former Chairman of Nigeria Football Association Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima and former Weightlifting President Chief (Mrs) Kofo Nwokedi.

The executive board of the NOC which approved the nominations and appointments said that they (appointees) richly deserved their appointments as it was purely based on recognition of their meritorious service to Nigerian sports and the Olympic Movement in particular.
