Jonathan orders police to find governor’s aide killers  print

President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday asked ActingInspector- General of Police, Muhammed Abubakar, to put all necessary machinery in motion that will lead to the arrest of the killers of Mr. Oyerinde Olaitan, thePrincipal Private Secretary to Governor Adams Oshiomole, of Edo State governor.

Olaitan was killed by some gunmen in the early hours onFriday, at his residence in Benin, Edo State. 

While speaking during a one- day Presidential workshop onPower which was attended by some governors, including Adams Oshiomhole, at theBanquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, President Jonathan offered his condolence to the Edo State Governor over the murder of his Private Secretary. 

Jonathan said he has already directed the Inspector General of Police to fishout the killers of Oyerinde.  He alsorevealed that he has directed the Acting IGP to reopen all cases of politicalmurders for thorough investigations. 

” I have directed that cases of murders must be properlyinvestigated in this country at the end of the day, we must know what happened;not just in Edo State, but other challenges that are facing us on a daily basis”,said Jonathan who also lamented the current security challenges the country iscurrently facing.H

    Of course that is expected from the president! But this will go the way of Bola Ige, so police boss, sleep on

    pls clear the floor once again for mr.president to make a speech.please we are tired of the same adage thus:we will make sure we leave no stone unturn and also all hands must be u deck.I suggest we should leave the stone the way they are and same to the hands on deck.All these is because non of their families member are r ightly involved.God bless and help Nigeria
