Veteran Nollywood actor, Ashley Nwosu is dead. He died this morning at the Military Hospital, Yaba, Lagos after being in coma since yesterday.
National President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Segun Arinze, confirmed the death of the prolific actor to P.M.NEWS this morning.
According to Arinze, “his death is a very big loss to the entertainment sector and Nigeria as a whole. He was one of the most experienced and responsible actors we had. We will all miss his brotherly advice and talent.â€
The light-skinned actor died of the liver ailment he had been battling with for some time now.
Some of his films include Saviour, The Seed, Love, Hand of God, Lagos Babes, Itohan, Prisoner of Love and Outkast among others.
