Political leaders in Somolu and Bariga led by Alhaji R.K. Mustapha, Chairman, Somolu chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, and Otunba Dengel Anifowoshe, Chairman, Bariga chapter of the party have pledged loyalty to the leadership of the party.
They made this pledge in a letter jointly signed and tagged: “Letter of Loyalty and Total Commitment to the Leadership of the ACN†addressed to the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through the state chairman of the party, Otunba Henry Ajomale.
“In view of the political impasse that engulfed our great party, ACN, we wish to use this medium on behalf of the party leaders in Somolu and Bariga to affirm our undivided loyalty and total commitment to the leadership of our national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We wish to state categorically that the entire leaders, LGA/Ward excos and the generality of our members of our great party in both Somolu and Bariga will sincerely abide with the directives/instructions of the party as a mark of pure loyalty to our distinguished leader.
“We assure you of our total commitment to ensure the success of all the candidates that the party handed over to us under your able leadership. We hail the leadership of our great party, ACN,†the leaders stated.
